The family of Mississippi Community Action Agencies (CAA) is pleased to announce that they have integrated the latest web technology to help serve families in our state. Under the direction of Mississippi Department of Human Services / Division of Community Services Director Sollie Norwood, a task force of CAA staff, has developed a complete ROMA based system. This system includes an array of case management tools that are compliant with new Federal ROMA guidelines.

WHAT IS MS ROMA?

Since 1997, a statewide task force under the direction of MDHS/DCS, has worked to help define a new system which meets the needs of processing CSBG related clients, services, and accountability under ROMA through a comprehensive computerized system and support mechanism. MS ROMA is intended to be a single, consistent, meaningful, client intake, tracking, service delivery and accountability system. It will help CAAs effectively address and track ROMA Goals. Through these efforts, the task force has created and adopted matrices for Agency Development, Community Development, and Family Development.
